Founded by Jesse Phillips and Todd Barnes in 2023, Improv started as a passion project and quickly evolved into a company renowned for quality craftsmanship and bespoke luxury. With over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry, Jesse and Todd are proud to have found their purpose in bringing dreams to life and creating landmarks that clients and collaborators are excited to be a part of.

With 15 years of experience within the construction industry Jesse has established a reputation for excellence and attention to detail. Specialising in luxury residential projects Jesse brings a deep understanding of materials, design and craftsmanship to every endeavour. Committed to delivering exceptional quality, Jesse works closely with clients to transform visions into stunning realities, ensuring that each project reflects both sophistication and enduring value.
Todd Barnes
An accomplished director with a robust background in business relations and project management, Todd is dedicated to driving success within the building industry. His expertise in cultivating relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers fosters a collaborative environment that enhances project outcomes.
Campbell Griffin
Campbell is a qualified builder with over 9 years experience in the construction industry. Originally from New Zealand, he has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship on high-end residential projects. With hands-on experience in all aspects Campbell has a comprehensive understanding of the building process. Now based on the Gold Coast in a project management role, he brings leadership and precision to every job. Passionate about continuous growth, Campbell is eager to expand his expertise and embrace opportunities with Improv.
Hayden Cordes
Hayden is a qualified builder from New Zealand with 9 years experience in the trade industry. Having moved to the Gold Coast in 2023 he brings with him experience in high end new builds and renovations as well as commercial construction. He is committed to delivering high quality work with a keen eye for detail to build your visions.
